Integrated Day Care Center Services and Activities
HIV Services
The Day Care Center provides comprehensive HIV services, including counseling, testing, treatment, and follow-up for people living with HIV. The program emphasizes confidentiality, adherence to antiretroviral therapy, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and ongoing psychosocial support to ensure healthy living and reduce stigma.
Diagnosis of Cervical Cancer (Cytology Laboratory)
Through the Cytology Laboratory, the center conducts cervical cancer screening using Pap smears and other diagnostic methods. Early detection allows for prompt management and referral of precancerous or cancerous conditions. The unit also engages in community education and awareness campaigns on women’s reproductive health and cancer prevention..
Tuberculosis (TB) Laboratory
The TB Laboratory offers diagnostic and follow-up services for tuberculosis using modern techniques such as GeneXpert and microscopy. The unit plays a vital role in the detection, treatment monitoring, and prevention of TB transmission, while collaborating with the national TB control program for comprehensive care.
Hypertension and Diabetes Management Clinics
These clinics provide regular screening, diagnosis, and long-term management of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
